The new Gastropub & Grill that just opened at Westgate has a new rooftop patio and bar as well.
Thirsty Lion opened this past October, becoming the first two-story location in its Arizona chain as well as the largest in the state. The rooftop bar also just recently opened.
The rooftop spans almost 4,000-square feet and can accommodate up to 200 guests with a fully equipped bar and dining area. Note that the rooftop is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Check it out now while Thirsty Lion is offering a selection of seasonal cocktails, in addition to more than 20 beers on tap. The scratch menu features classics like a gorgonzola-infused burger and spicy fried chicken sandwich marinated with jalapeno and buttermilk.
The new location, at 9445 W. Entertainment Blvd., is just steps away from Desert Diamond Arena and State Farm Stadium.
