An annual free, all-ages event where superheroes, “Star Wars” characters, sci-fi legends and anime stars will come to life again in the city of Glendale.
This year's LIBCON West event will move from its former home at the Glendale Main Library to the Foothills Library Branch.
Hundreds of people are expected to attend this year's LIBCON West, a celebration of all types of fandoms, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 6 at the library, 19055 N. 57th Ave.

This year's LIBCON West event will move from its former home at the Glendale Main Library to the Foothills Library Branch.
Hundreds of people are expected to attend this year's LIBCON West, a celebration of all types of fandoms, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 6 at the library, 19055 N. 57th Ave.
Participants can take part in several activities, including:
Talking to authors and artists
Posing for photos with cosplayers
Navigating a “Star Wars” story-walk
Testing their analytical skills in an escape room with a “Stranger Themes” TV show theme
