Good morning council member,

I am writing you this Sunday morning because I find it disturbing that the council is even considering the removal of citizen comments from council meetings per Resolution No. R24-134.

I find it even more alarming that this was brought up in a workshop two weeks ago and appears that it was quietly inserted at the last hour to the voting agenda for this Tuesday, conveniently before one of the biggest holiday travel weekends.

I believe this item should have never been brought up because it goes against the First Amendment and completely discards transparency.

I will remind you that it is the citizens that own each council seat and we have trusted you to make decisions in our best interests. R24-134 is NOT in the best interest of Glendale citizens.

I am formally requesting agenda item R24-134 be removed from both the workshop and voting meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024 and that it not return to any agenda in the future.

I appreciate your attention to this concern.
