Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona and the city of Glendale will present a Career Expo from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 20 at the GESD System of Care Center, 7677 W. Bethany Home Road.
The Career Expo provides an opportunity for job seekers to connect with employers from a variety of industries and occupations. The event also presents opportunities to network with other professionals, discover new opportunities, and build the path for a strong career.
Job seekers can prepare for the career expo by utilizing GCNA’s free online career services platform, MyCareerAdvisor.com. Through My Career Advisor, job seekers can build their resume, take online training modules, prepare for interviews, and connect with Goodwill’s virtual career coaches.
Prior to the event, GCNA will run a How to Navigate a Career Fair workshop from 3 to 4 p.m. on site. Within this workshop, job seekers will have the opportunity to practice interview skills and position themselves for success.
Additionally, Dress for Success Phoenix’s Mobile Career Center will be on site from 2 to 5:30 p.m., providing suits for women in need of professional attire. Men are asked to contact Dress for Success for suiting in advance by calling 602-489-7397.
