The 25th annual Arizona Songwriters Gathering returns to Glendale this month.
The Glendale Main Library, at 5959 W. Brown St., is the site for the one-day event that runs from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29.
The free event will include workshops, critiques and industry professionals who will offer insight into the art of writing songs and breaking into the music business. Dozens of musical performances are scheduled in and around the library, including informal, round-robin style jam sessions for musicians to share their tunes.
