Glendale Foothills Library embraces art, nature

Glendale's northernmost library, the Foothills branch at 19055 N. 57th Ave., features a couple of early November events. They are:

Introduction to Birding with Sonoran Audubon Society, 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7. Guests can earn about birds, birding, and birding resources at this workshop presented by Sonoran Audubon Society.

It starts with a guided walk outdoors, putting new knowledge to work as guests tour around the park along Skunk Creek. Then, back inside the library for a discussion about the birds we saw and have birding questions answered.
