While Arizona hits a milestone of more than 2.5 million residents fully vaccinated against COVID-19, Glendale’s case count over the past few weeks experienced a slight uptick.
Glendale’s nine most populous ZIP codes show an increase in cases of 2.3% from the period measured between April 19 and May 10, based on figures the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) released Monday.
That’s noteworthy, considering the Glendale Independent’s most recent measured period, between March 29 and April 8, showed the slowest growth rate in months, at only 0.5%. The growth rate, however, has remained at 3% or lower since a measurement period that began Feb. 24.
