Glendale approves final plat for a 24 acre mixed-use development

The Glendale City Council voted to approve the Desert River II final plat project.

On Tuesday night the council  voted to approve items 3 thorugh 16. This included the approval of Desert River II amended final plat.

The  developer Empire Group, a Scottsdale-based company, is looking to use the 24.15 acres for commercial use.  This will include a mixed-use development with onsite infrastructure. 

No details were shared at the meeting.

The site area is located at the northwest corner of 99th Avenue and Desert River Boulevard in Glendale.

The final plat will also amend the creation of six  lots with dedication of right-of-way and water/sewer easement to the city, according to council documents.
