Glendale annexes 2 parcels planned for industrial development

During its Feb. 24 voting meeting, the Glendale City Council unanimously approved annexing two properties at its western end, totaling just more than 48 acres.

Both annexations were followed  by a related zoning change from rural residence to planned area development. 

The larger annexation with a more detailed development plan is south of the southwest corner of Peoria and Sarival avenues and encompasses 39 acres.
