The city of Glendale will host a public open house to present current information on the Downtown Campus Reinvestment Project and allow residents to share comments directly with the project team.
The gathering will take place at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 15. The presentation will be in person at three locations concurrently, each with different members of the project team represented: inside City Hall Council Chambers at 5850 W. Glendale Ave.; Heroes Park Library, 6075 N. 83rd Ave.; and at Foothills Recreation Center, 5600 W. Union Hills Drive.
The presentations will also stream live on the city’s YouTube and Facebook pages.
According to the city, the presentation will include demonstrations on how the public will arrive on the campus and flow in and out of the building during construction, and to learn about the overall design.
The Downtown Campus Reinvestment Project is still in the early planning stages and is expected to be completed by the spring of 2025. The project encompasses the revitalization of city hall, the parking structure, and Murphy Park and its amphitheater.
The Glendale City Hall campus was originally built in 1984.
