It was heartening to read of Sun Canyon Bank's generosity (No-kill animal shelter relies on resident donations) — but especially which organization was their beneficiary.
As a volunteer with Sun Valley Animal Shelter, I was delighted to find an informative article about the worthy service they provide, even amid financial challenges.
Visiting with the dogs at SVAS several times a week, I can attest that this relatively small shelter manages to use their donation-only funding to offer an extremely nurturing environment to all the dogs and cats they take into their care.
Sun Valley Animal Shelter in Glendale may not be the largest or most well-known shelter in the Valley, but rest assured that they are continually working hard, and lovingly, to place pets into carefully matched forever homes.
They are definitely worthy of donations of time, money and/or physical items.
