2025 eviction filings taper off from previous years

Three Valley areas are tied for the most eviction filings on average, due to the large apartment concentrations in those areas, said Scott Davis, spokesman for the Maricopa County Justice Courts.

The areas — north Phoenix, Tempe and the Glendale/Avondale area — all average about 413 eviction filings each month, Davis said.

In July, there were 7,250 eviction filings submitted to the Maricopa County Justice Courts.
