Whataburger set to open on Higley Road in Gilbert

Whataburger is opening its newest restaurant at 1395 N. Higley Road, Gilbert, on Monday.

The Texas-based regional hamburger restaurant will have a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. and grand opening at 11 a.m., attended by operating partner Julian Villarreal and DJ JSteele from Power 98.3 FM.

The design of the restaurant pays respect to Whataburger’s storied history while looking to the future with a double drive-thru, ordering kiosks, and digital menu boards inside and out to best serve guests. There is also a custom Gilbert interior mural.
