Verde at Cooley Station marked the end of its construction phase Friday as Gilbert leaders, business partners and community members gathered for a grand-opening celebration that officially ushered in the mixed-use development’s next chapter.
“We are at the end of the beginning of the first phase, and we’re at the beginning of a new phase,” developer Norm Brody said.
That new phase centers on activating the development’s central green, expanding events and community programming, and continuing to build a tenant mix anchored by local entrepreneurs.
