Town seeks residents input on next phases for Gilbert Regional Park

Gilbert Regional Park provides a splash pad and a playground, among other amenities of which the town does not have enough, according to one study. Completing the other 185 undeveloped acres is a priority capital project for the town.

Gilbert Parks and Recreation is inviting residents to engage in the next phases of development for Gilbert Regional Park at two neighborhood outreach events in September.
Residents have two opportunities to participate:
Thursday, Sept. 12
The Barn at Power Ranch, 3685 S. Autumn Drive, Gilbert
5-7 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 19
Cafeteria at Bridges Elementary, 5205 S. Soboba St., Gilbert
6-8 p.m.
Attendees will have the opportunity to view detailed plans, ask questions and provide feedback on the park’s future amenities. The town considers participation crucial in creating something that meets the needs of Gilbert’s growing community.
