Litchfield Park is a family-oriented, pedestrian-friendly lifestyle community that attracts residents and tourists. It is home to the Wigwam Resort, an Arizona landmark and Historic Hotel of America that opened in 1929.
Popular annual attractions include the Halloween Carnival, weekend concerts on the front lawn of the Wigwam Resort, Christmas in the Park, and the Arts Festival. The city is known for its greenery and two signature golf courses at the Wigwam Resort.
According to the 2010, Litchfield Park has a population of 5,476 people. It is 20 miles west of Phoenix in the South Valley located near I-10.
The Litchfield Park Independent launched in the fall of 2018, circulating by mailbox once each month to the entire city.
