Luann Lennox of Tequila Snobs will walk attendees through the growing, harvesting, baking, making and aging of tequila at a two-part event at HD South.
The first part of the two-part History of Tequila program will be 7 p.m. Nov. 10. The second part will be Dec. 8.
Lennox has been conducting tequila tastings and educational events since 2010. She has been published in a multitude of magazines and newspapers highlighting her talent, knowledge and passion.
This event includes a few tastes of the spirit so attendees must be 21 and over. Registration is required.
Raised in Arizona, Tom Blodgett has spent more than 35 years in journalism in Arizona and joined Independent Newsmedia in July 2022 to launch the Gilbert edition. He is a graduate of Arizona State University, where he served as an instructional professional in the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication from 2005-19 and remains editorial adviser to The State Press, the university's independent student media outlet.
