Gilbert to offer free fall water conservation workshops

Gilbert will offer a series of free water conservation workshops this fall aimed at helping residents use water more efficiently, maintain healthy landscapes and reduce water waste.

The five-workshop series begins Oct. 29 and runs through November at the Shakespeare Room at the Southeast Regional Library. Topics will include water-wise gardening, understanding household water use, rainwater harvesting, landscape irrigation and irrigation controller programming.

The workshops come as Gilbert prepares for a reduction in its Colorado River water allocation beginning in January 2027.
