A Gilbert pickleball club raised $2,000 for a breast cancer charity at a recent tournament.

Center Court Pickleball Club, a new indoor pickleball club, invited members and the public to Save the BOObies, a special event with proceeds going to the National Breast Cancer Coalition.

Nearly 90 participants played in the tournament.

Participants dressed in pink outfits and costumes with local restaurants and businesses contributing to the event.

Silent auction items and raffle baskets included a variety of Pickleball items, self-care items, gift cards and more.

Attendees also participated in a 50/50 raffle and enjoyed offerings from 13 local vendors. Highlights included food trucks from Tom’s BBQ  and the Pedaling Paletas.
