The town of Gilbert is advancing plans to sell two town-owned parcels at the northeast corner of SanTan Village Parkway and Ray Road, near Crossroads Park.
The larger parcel encompasses just under 19 acres and is zoned for public facilities/institutional use, while the smaller, 5-acre parcel at the hard corner is zoned for community commercial use.
During a recent council meeting, it was noted the town owns approximately 1,300 acres across nearly 400 parcels, constituting about 3% of Gilbert's total planning area. Notably, 76% of these parcels are 2 acres or less, with only 8% being 10 acres or more.
