After nearly 15 years of hosting its Saturday events in the heart of the Gilbert Heritage District, the Gilbert Farmers Market will soon relocate to a new home.
The market announced last week on its social media it will move to Chandler Gilbert Community College beginning Oct. 4, prompted by space constraints and town redevelopment plans in the downtown area.
“We're definitely in need of something bigger, along with the town needing the space for something else,” said Dan Koppenhofer, who operates the Gilbert Farmers Market with his wife, Jessa.
