Gilbert council approves Harvest Grove neighborhood shopping center

Gilbert Town Council has cleared the way for a neighborhood shopping center on about 12 acres at the northeast corner of Val Vista Drive and Queen Creek Road.

Council approved a minor general plan amendment and rezoning for the Harvest Grove Neighborhood Commercial project Sept. 1 as part of a combined package of public hearing items.

The vote was unanimous among the five council members present. Council members Yung Koprowski and Kenny Buckland were absent.
