Farmhouse Village marks 25 years

Historic Gilbert homestead turned into shopping destination

On a once-rural stretch of Gilbert, where cotton and alfalfa thrived under the Arizona sun, a small cluster of historic homes has been lovingly transformed into a shopping destination that celebrates community and history.

This Mother’s Day, Farmhouse Village marks its 25th anniversary — but the buildings themselves, and the stories they carry, go back nearly a century.

Located on Gilbert Road between Elliot and Warner roads, the shopping center is unlike any other in town.
