East Valley Loop 202 widening takes another step at October meeting

Project designed to deal with congestion in Chandler, Gilbert, Southeast Valley

PHOENIX – The Arizona Department of Transportation will have a meeting Oct. 6 to share plans and ask for comments about a project that will widen Loop 202 between Interstate 10 and Loop 101.

The virtual meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. with a presentation, followed by the opportunity for the public to ask questions of the ADOT project team and provide comments.

The project will address existing and projected traffic congestion on Loop 202, state transportation officials stated in a release.
