Driver gets 24 years in prison for fatal Gilbert crash

A man who pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in a Gilbert crash that killed two women and a service dog has been sentenced to 24 years in prison.

Robb Louis Hintzsche pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree murder, each a Class 1 dangerous felony, according to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.

The September 2025 crash killed Lyft driver Nicole Snell, her service dog, Belini, and passenger Marisa Jorgenson, a 33-year-old mother of two.
