Donna Ann Corriero, age 74, passed away on May 11, 2024. Born in Chicago on March 24, 1950, Donna lived a life full of creativity and compassion.
She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Sayre, and her mother, Phyllis Sayre. Donna is survived by her husband, Donald George Corriero; her son, Ryan Samuel Corriero; and her brother, Bruce Sayre.
Donna was well-known for her crafting skills with the local group Hooks and Needles, a passion she pursued for many years. She loved sharing her knowledge and finished projects with everyone around her. Despite holding various jobs throughout her life, crafting always remained her true passion.
A visitation will be held at Messenger Funeral Home in Fountain Hills on May 23, 2024, from 6-8 PM. The funeral service will take place the following day, May 24, 2024, from 11 AM-12 PM, also at Messenger Funeral Home. Donna will be laid to rest at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
Donna will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and generosity that will continue to inspire those who were touched by her life.
