Wedding-planning event set for Thursday in Chandler

Engaged couples are invited to downtown Chandler on Thursday, Jan. 23, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., for the Downtown Chandler Wedding Walk.

It's an event designed to simplify wedding planning while showcasing the area’s premier venues and services, according to a news release.

A self-guided tour begins at the Crowne Plaza San Marcos Resort and features stops at five venues, including Soho63, The Copper House, Hilton Garden Inn, and The Hidden House.

Participants will be able to meet with professional wedding vendors, including photographers, DJs, jewelers, caterers, and more, to explore options for creating an unforgettable wedding experience.

Each $10 ticket includes two raffle tickets for entry into a giveaway with more than $5,000 worth of prizes, according to the release, ranging from discounts on wedding services to complimentary stays and rentals.

Restaurants and vendors will be offering specials and samples during the event as well.
