Carefree planning and zoning commission to meet Aug. 10

Carefree’s planning and zoning commission unanimously voted to recommend approving a text amendment and special use permit May 18 for a proposed 14-unit condominium.

The town of Carefree will host a planning and zoning commission meeting 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10, at the town council chambers, 33 Easy Street.

The commission will vote on a possible town center zoning overlay memorandum, a temporary contract with Michael Baker International, a temporary contract for engineering services with Interim Public Management and a strategic priority update to town center and Desert Gardens.

The meeting will also be available online.
