'Tri-City' Economic Summit on Jan. 21 in Chandler

Posted

The East Valley continues to grow and prosper with ongoing gains in business retention, attraction, and expansion, according to a Chandler Chamber of Commerce news release.

The Chamber wants the public to join community leaders as they share their intentional efforts toward economic growth for the future of the region in a Wednesday, Jan. 21 breakfast event, the Tri-City Economic Update.

The breakfast is from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. It's to be held at The Avion Center, 1733 E Northrop Blvd., near Chandler Municipal Airport.

Attendees will hear a regional economic update from Chris Mackay, a former Chandler economic development director who took over as president and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council in October.

Mackay will offer a look at current trends shaping the East Valley’s growth and competitiveness.

The program continues with an economic forecast presented by Jim Rounds of Rounds Consulting Group, providing analysis of market conditions, workforce impacts, and the region’s economic trajectory.

There will also be brief introductions of our East Valley town and city managers.

The cost to attend is $40 per person for both East Valley chamber members and non-members and includes breakfast.

A 4% transaction service fee is applied for payments made using a credit card. To avoid this fee, please contact the Chamber directly to arrange for payment by cash or check.
