Williams Field High School’s Class of 2022 salutatorian has joined his family’s local brokerage as its director of marketing.
Tyler Llumiquinga is responsible for creating and maintaining Desert Elite Realty’s social media and online presence. Additionally, as a licensed real estate agent, Llumiquinga works with clients on their real estate needs.
While still a senior at Williams Field, Llumiquinga pursued his real estate license to assist in the family’s soon-to-open, Gilbert-based, boutique real estate brokerage.
“Tyler brings insightful perspectives to marketing as his generation is growing up immersed in social media,” said Desert Elite Realty’s designated broker and owner Nelson Llumiquinga, who is Tyler’s father. “He understands that providing current and useful information online is crucial to engaging potential customers and thus creating a strong local presence, developing a steady pipeline of leads for agents to service, as well as recruiting new quality agents to assist with those leads.”
Tyler grew up around the real estate business, according to Nelson.
“When I started in real estate over 15 years ago, Tyler was always by my side and in the office,” Nelson said. “He grew up around real estate and is attracted to the unique aspects of a career that intersects deep relationships, elite customer service, and the art of negotiation to make a positive impact on people’s lives.”
Tyler closed escrow on his first listing before graduating from high school. Instead of taking the summer off, Tyler opted to service clients and develop the firm’s marketing program.
With two more closed escrows under his belt, Tyler continues to shadow Nelson to further develop his skills,
After graduating in May as Williams Field’s salutatorian, Llumiquinga chose the Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University for his secondary education, where he is focused on pursuing international law at the WP Carey School of Business.
Though Llumiquinga was accepted and offered scholarships at many universities nationwide, he recognized that ASU’s business program would provide him with the educational foundation while allowing him to continue assisting at the brokerage.
On top of carrying a full school schedule, Llumiquinga still manages to work at the brokerage and finds time for his other passions including Spikeball, family and friends.
Desert Elite Realty is a family-owned boutique real estate brokerage headquartered in Gilbert and serving the Metro Phoenix and Tucson areas.
