Private Chandler school unveils first logo

New Vistas Center for Education recently announced its first mascot.

The Navigators are the name for the students of New Vistas, a private school located on Arizona Avenue, just north of downtown Chandler, according to a news release.

The logo and mascot celebrate the pre-K-6 school’s 46-year legacy, symbolizing courage, curiosity, and perseverance, the release states.

“A Navigator is a leader, an innovator, and a dedicated learner,” said Carol Elias, founder and co-director of the school. “Our students exemplify these qualities every day. They discover, create, and inspire others as they chart their own unique paths toward the future.”

Much like the North Star that has guided explorers for generations, the release states, a navigator embodies New Vistas’ commitment to helping students find direction, stay the course, and reach their highest potential, the release states.

New Vistas serves more than 400 students ages 3 to 12, the release states. Its website, where a link can be found to buy official Navigator spirit wear, is newvistasaz.com.
