Kiwanis Marketplace celebrates community that gives back

Every chair, sofa, lamp, kitchen table, box of household items or piece of décor donated to Kiwanis Marketplace can impact lives in the Desert Foothills.

While many know Kiwanis Marketplace as a destination for treasure hunting, what they may not realize is that the store’s success begins with community members who choose to donate their furniture and household items. Those donations are transformed into scholarships, grants, youth programs, nonprofit support, and countless community projects throughout Carefree, Cave Creek and surrounding communities.

Since opening its doors 12 years ago, Kiwanis Marketplace has returned more than $12.5 million to the local community, which was made possible almost entirely through donated items.
