The city of Chandler and the BAM Foundation are teaming up again — this time to host the Road to Riches Santa at City Hall Car Show & Holiday Market.
This free community event will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at the City Hall Parking Garage, 240 S. Washington Street, downtown Chandler.
Attendees can check out show cars, get a head start on holiday shopping and support local vendors, enjoy local food trucks and a live deejay and learn about nonprofits serving our community.
Children's arts and crafts will be available, as well as photos with Santa. Printed and digital photos with Santa will be available for purchase.
Those interested in showing off their ride can register by clicking here to secure a spot. The registration fee is $25 per car, plus an online processing fee.
Event proceeds will benefit the Chandler Public Housing Authority’s Road to Riches program. In addition, community nonprofits interested in hosting an information booth during the event should email the foundation to participate.
Last year, the city’s Housing and Redevelopment Division partnered with the BAM Foundation and Money Vehicle to launch free financial literacy workshops to Chandler’s public housing youth residents and participants enrolled in Chandler’s Family Self-Sufficiency program, or FSS.
The FSS program continues to benefit Chandler low-income families working to overcome financial challenges, build sustainable wealth and reduce and/or eliminate the need for public assistance.
