Hamilton High School student Larah Flavier, who interviewed Jules Wyatt, commander of Jewish War Veterans Post 619, for inclusion in the 21st volume of Imprints of Honor, gets his autograph for her Imprints of Honor book.
Hamilton High School student Larah Flavier interviewed Jules Wyatt, commander of Jewish War Veterans Post 619, for inclusion in the 21st volume of Imprints of Honor book.
More than 300 students at 26 schools participated in Imprints of Honor’s after-school character and civics education program. Students interview and preserve the service stories of 245 veterans in three editions of this year’s collection.
“I was truly honored and humbled by the experience,” Wyatt said. “Our younger generation preserving the stories and legacies of the older generations of Veterans was a Herculean task and the students were able to go above and beyond the story. I will never forget the experience.”
