Rawhide Western Town & Event Center is hosting to announce “Jaripeo y Baile Rawhide.”

The Oct.  25-26 weekend cultural celebration includes Mexican rodeo, music and community spirit, according to a news release.

The event will take place at the Buck-N Rodeo grounds on Oct. 25 from 5 p.m. to midnight and Oct. 26 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

“Jaripeo Y Baile” will feature a lineup of traditional rodeo competitions and performances. This includes cala de caballo (reigning exercises), bronc rides, trick roping, escaramuza (side saddle performances), bull riding, Carrera de Giros (a timed event, like a barrel race), and Paso De La Muerte (full-speed jumps from one unsaddled horse to a wild bronc mare).

Buck-N Rodeo Grounds at Rawhide is at 5244 S. 48th St., Chandler, off of Wild Horse Pass Boulevard.

The rodeo grounds features east and west stadium seating, modern lighting, a warm-up arena, and all the classic rodeo fixings to eat and drink.
