The Cave Creek Town Council will receive an update on the purchase of 4,005 acres of state trust land during its meeting Tuesday night.
Development Services Director Luke Kautzman and former Maricopa County Parks Director R.J. Cardin will make a presentation to the council on where the town is in the process.
Also on the agenda is an agreement for Cave Creek to submit a grant application to the Arizona State Parks and Trails for a Land and Water Conservation Fund Grant for the purposes of acquiring the 4,005 acres.
