The Cave Creek Museum, in conjunction with the Cave Creek Visitor Center, invites residents and visitors to take part in the Local Landmarks Passport Program.
Passport users begin their adventure by picking up a Local Landmarks Passport at the Cave Creek Visitor Center or Cave Creek Museum.
Passport users then explore the town to discover 10 of the Local Landmarks, search for answers to trivia questions, and learn some Cave Creek history to explore the places, stories and people that helped shape the character of Cave Creek.
Upon completion of the answers they find, thrill seekers can bring the passport back to the museum or visitors center for some fun Cave Creek swag. The Cave Creek Visitor Center is located at 6528 E. Cave Creek Road, and the museum can be found at 6140 E. Skyline Drive.
The Visitor Center and the Cave Creek Museum will open to the public on October 1, 2026.
The Local Landmarks program participants are recognized with a bronze plaque that connects the celebrated locations with a storytelling map. The map allows residents and visitors to explore virtually, physically and through the storytelling of Cave Creek’s pioneers, descendants and residents.
