Gilbert Public Schools honors its top employees

Gilbert Public Schools honored employees across its 39 schools and departments at the DoubleTree Hotel in Gilbert last month for the annual Employee of the Year celebration.

This event is held to honor and appreciate the positive difference GPS staff make every day for our students, families and each other.

“Being named Employee of the Year is more than just an award," GPS Superintendent Shane McCord said. "It’s a celebration of passion, perseverance, and purpose. It’s about showing up—not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, and wholeheartedly.

“It's about lifting others up, leading by example, and making the workplace not just productive, but inspiring.”
