For those traveling this Labor Day weekend, gas prices will hit an all-time high for this time of year, AAA Arizona said in a release Friday.
Despite prices in the Valley dropping 7 cents a gallon this week to $4.62 a gallon, the price represents an 85 cent increase over last year’s $$3.77 a gallon.
“Continued volatility in the Strait of Hormuz has pushed crude oil prices in the $90 per barrel range,” said Aldo Vazquez, AAA Mountain West Group spokesperson. “After a record-setting August, this Labor Day weekend is on track to also set a record at the pump,
