Arizona Water Co.’s water conservation specialist, Raluca Mihalcescu, has contacted Gold Canyon Community Inc. and offered to work with interested Gold Canyon home owners associations to conduct landscape and irrigation water audits.
Arizona Water Co. is working with Gary Woodward, a long-time water auditor of commercial, institutional and landscape irrigation customers, according to a release.
“Over the past seven years, Gary has conducted hundreds of water audits for various water providers. The service includes:
The report provides recommendations only — there is no requirement to act on any unless the HOA chooses to do so, the release states.
There is no charge for the project as it is fully supported by the Department of Water Resources Grant and Arizona Water Co.
There may be a limited number of HOAs that will be able to participate in this program. If an HOA is interested in participating, contact Raluca Mihalcescu at Arizona Water Co. at 602-390-0356 or rmihalcescu@azwater.com.
