An Apache Junction church is hosting a Vitalant blood drive in October.
Donors of all types are needed to help patients in emergencies and for planned treatments for cancer and blood disorders. The need is greatest for type O, the most transfused and most compatible when there’s no time to test a patient’s blood type, it states at https://www.vitalant.org.
It is 7-11 a.m. Oct. 26 at St. George Catholic Church Social Hall, 300 E. 16th Ave. in Apache Junction.
