Superstition Fire and Medical District Chairman Kathleen Ann Chamberlain, who was first elected to the board in November 2018, has died.
In addition to years of public service, Chamberlain worked for the city of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Fire Department as fire marshal, she said in an Apache Junction/Gold Canyon Independent story in October 2018.
The SFMD board on Oct. 21 appointed Traci Polk as a new director to complete Chamberlain’s term and approved a process for selection of a new director for her next term, SFMD Fire Chief John Whitney said in an email.
