Apache Junction Unified School District is seeking applicants for a superintendent and has principal openings at Cactus Canyon Junior High School and Apache Junction High School.

The salary starts at $160,000 for a superintendent.

“The Apache Junction Unified School District superintendent is the chief officer responsible for the effective management of the district. The superintendent must maintain positive relationships with staff, students, community and the school board. The superintendent is in charge of developing a positive district culture and working with other educational and community leaders to advance the vision, mission and strategic plan of the district,” the job posting states.

The salary range is $84,479 to $113,806 for the CCJHS principal.

“Reporting to the superintendent, the principal directs and coordinates educational, administrative, and counseling activities of a 6-8 junior high school,” the job posting states.

The salary range is $89,884 to $121,087 for the AJHS principal.

“Reporting to the superintendent, the principal directs and coordinates educational, administrative, and counseling activities of a 9-12 high school,” the job posting states.
