North Price Freeway closed between US 60 and Red Mountain Freeway this weekend

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for a full closure of northbound Loop 101 Price Freeway between US 60 and Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway from 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25, to 5 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 28, for pavement striping.

The following ramps, according to a release, will also be closed:

  • Northbound Loop 101 on-ramps at Guadalupe Road and Southern Avenue.
  • Northbound Loop 101 on- and off-ramp at Broadway Road.
  • Northbound Loop 101 ramps to east- and westbound Loop 202.
  • East- and westbound US 60 ramps to northbound Loop 101.
  • Westbound US 60 on-ramp at Alma School Road.

For a detour, drivers can use McClintock Drive and Dobson Road as alternate routes for north-south travel.

ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is underway.

Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors, the release states
