Arizona-based real estate investment and development company Harvard Investments recently announced the start of its new commercial center, Arrival at Cadence, as part of its Cadence at Gateway master-planned community in Mesa. Mountainside Fitness Center and QuikTrip are the first commercial tenants.

Based in Arizona, Mountainside Fitness provides a variety of amenities to help customers achieve their fitness goals. The 40,000-square-foot Cadence location will feature top-of-the-line equipment, state-of-the-art childcare and more than 80 group fitness classes, including Zumba, cycling with a live DJ, Flow Yoga, Step, high-intensity interval training and more, according to a release.

“We expect the new commercial center, Arrival at Cadence, to provide our residents and neighbors with the utmost in convenient, quality services,” Tim Brislin, vice president of Harvard Investments, said in the release. “Moving forward with our commercial center is the next step in exceeding the lifestyle expectations for Cadence at Gateway. It’s great to be a part of the larger Gateway community, and these two new additions will make a difference in a lot of people’s week.”

Mountainside Fitness Chief Executive Officer Tom Hatten said his organization is thrilled to become a part of Arrival at Cadence.

“Mountainside Fitness was founded on one simple idea: to be the friendliest fitness center in town,” Mr. Hatten said in the release. “We look forward to bringing our custom services and well-trained staff to the Cadence community. We continually strive to add more value to our services to make people happy, fit and grow closer as a community.”

Personal services at Mountainside include personal training, a chiropractor, massages, physical therapy, executive lockers and Sonora Quest lab tests.

In addition to Mountainside Fitness, QuikTrip will open a 4,993-square-foot convenience store, gas station and QT Kitchen in the Arrival at Cadence commercial center. QuikTrip is known for its fresh, made-to-order food, specialty drinks and frozen treat selections.

“We are eager to expand our footprint and unparalleled customer service to individuals and families in the Mesa Gateway area as a part of Cadence’s new commercial center,” Mike Thornbrugh, manager of public and governmental affairs for QuikTrip, said in the release. “We would like to begin construction as soon as possible and hope to open our doors to our loyal customers in early 2021.”

The Cadence QuikTrip location will have 16 car service for gas, its signature QT Kitchen with fresh hot sandwiches, XL and personal pizzas, soft pretzels, customizable specialty drinks, frozen drinks, fresh-brewed teas and will be open 24 hours.
