Mesa Riverview, an open-air shopping center at North Dobson and Loop 202 in Mesa, is offering free shuttle rides every 20 minutes Feb. 23-March 26 during home games to the nearby Sloan Park, spring training stadium for the Chicago Cubs.
The shuttles start at 11 a.m. for the first game and continue until 30 minutes after each game ends; see the full schedule at mesariverview.shopkimco.com/events. Exceptions include March 12 and 19 when the shuttle begins at 4 p.m.; and March 26 when the shuttle starts at 10 a.m., according to a release.
Enjoy pre- and post-game dining at one of more than 30 pubs and eateries at Mesa Riverview — including Papago Brewing Co., Rito’s Mexican Food, Mountain Mike’s Pizza, Chili’s, Chick-fil-A, Henhouse Café or Fazoli’s.
Pickup and drop-off will take place on the sidewalk between Chili’s and Papago Brewing Co. (near Rito’s Mexican Food).
Baseball-themed selfie spots
Beginning Feb. 23, Mesa Riverview invites guests to enjoy each of four popular baseball-themed selfie spots near the shuttle stop and restaurants; fans are encouraged to visit these selfie spots, take creative photos and share their photos on social media tagging @mesariverview.
