Mesa Fire Station No. 224 is to be on the east side of the 3400 block of South 80th Street in Mesa.

A three-bay fire station is to be built on 2 acres west of Hawes Road and north of Elliot Road in Mesa.

The look and landscaping for Fire Station No. 224 will be discussed and voted on by the Mesa Design Review Board at a 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, meeting in the lower council chambers, 57 E. First St.

It will be near the Hawes Crossing housing subdivision, Staff Planner Joshua Grandlienard said during the board’s July 9 meeting.
