Dual-language, Spanish-immersion program offered at one Apache Junction school

Posted

Apache Junction Unified School District is starting a dual-language and Spanish-immersion program at Four Peaks Elementary, the designated school for the district.

The program starts in kindergarten, with plans to add a grade level each year at Four Peaks Elementary, 1785 N. Idaho Road in Apache Junction.

Dr. Robert Pappalardo, Superintendent, expressed his enthusiasm for the program, stating, “We’re very excited to launch the dual-language and Spanish immersion program. If the program gains popularity with families in the district, our intention is to expand its reach to additional schools. We remain committed to meeting the needs of our students and parents.”
