Chandler student receives $10K Cox scholarship

A Chandler resident who attended a southeast Phoenix high school has scored a major scholarship.

Nila Sathyan, a graduate of Desert Vista High School, will receive one of 10 Cox Communications’ $10,000 scholarships to pursue her higher education, according to a news release.

Sathyan will be attending Arizona State University, studying biology, the release states.

A Chandler resident who attended a southeast Phoenix high school has scored a major scholarship.

Nila Sathyan, a graduate of Desert Vista High School, will receive one of 10 Cox Communications’ $10,000 scholarships to pursue her higher education, according to a news release.

Sathyan will be attending Arizona State University, studying biology, the release states.

“These Scholarships reflect Cox’s commitment to supporting individuals within the communities we serve,” Susan Anable, Cox Phoenix market vice president, stated in the news release. “We are delighted to help this outstanding group of young adults from Arizona pursue their educational dreams.”
