Johnny Johnson, fisherman and TV personality, will be the grand marshal of the 60th Annual Banner Health Lost Dutchman Days Parade on Saturday in Apache Junction.
“Fishing with Johnny Johnson” has been on television for more than 27 years, according to a release.
The parade in downtown Apache Junction will take place at 9 a.m. Feb. 24, beginning at Phelps Drive, traveling west on Apache Trail, turning at Gold Drive and heading east on Apache Trail back to Phelps Drive, organizers said. It features classic and kit cars, military vehicles, tractors, floats, bands and equestrians.
The Apache Junction Chamber of Commerce also presents the Lost Dutchman Days Carnival on Feb 23-25 at the Apache Junction Rodeo Grounds, 1590 E. Lost Dutchman Blvd.
The Chamber is selling carnival tickets for $30 until 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb 22. Carnival tickets will be available at the Rodeo Grounds for $40 starting on Friday, Feb 23.
